belkiX is a Cincinnati (Ohio)-based precision Drug Development company. We combine state-of-the art in silico techniques and an acute knowledge of target structure/function to screen the binding of hundreds of thousands of chemicals to a protein site. We specialize in metabolic enzymes and protein interfaces. Virtual drug screening is an easy and efficient way of examining commercial or private libraries of compounds, natural products, FDA approved drugs, etc., in a short time allowing researchers and drug developers to focus on a short list of potential binders. These could be further tested in various biochemical and cellular assays for potency and specificity.
